DVR’s (Digital Video Recorders) with huge storage capabilities can be networked giving you access to your site from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. We have DVR’s capable of utilizing video analytics software which can automatically recognize a human, a vehicle or a missing object. Video analytics can also be used to count and monitor the flow of customer traffic and wait times for retail applications. Another very useful program allows the DVR’s to integrate with existing point of sale systems to overlay text from each scanned item right onto the video monitor. This will help you ensure that all items are properly scanned at the check-out, which for many retailers can be the difference between profit and loss. Video searches can be done based on time or by type of sale. (ie. a search can be done for all “no sale” transactions, discounts or departmentally.) |
