CPTED Assessment & Report
Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Assessment & Report
A Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Assessment is a comprehensive review of the various characteristics of a property or neighbourhood in combination with on-site observations and a survey of either a proposed site for a future development project or that of an existing building.
A CPTED report is a condensed version of a CPTED assessment, focusing on specific aspects relevant to the client’s challenges. The purpose of a CPTED Assessment or Report is to identify issues and provide recommendations that can lead to a reduction in incidents and fear of crime while improving the quality of life of inhabitants of the area.
Financially, a CPTED Assessment or Report can lead to a substantial decrease in operational and maintenance costs over the lifetime of a building’s occupancy.
